Terms of Use

These placeholder terms govern use of the Leap website and application platform operated by Leap Financial Services (Pty) Ltd. This build is a demonstration prototype and does not offer credit.

Eligibility

You must be 18 or older, a South African citizen or permanent resident with a valid SA ID, earn a regular net income, and hold a bank account in your own name.

Credit agreements

Any loan would be governed by a separate credit agreement and pre-agreement quote issued in terms of the National Credit Act. The quote is valid for 5 business days.

Electronic signature

Acceptance by tickbox and typed name constitutes an electronic signature in terms of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002.

Responsible lending

Leap will decline an application where the affordability assessment indicates the credit would be reckless. Declines are recorded with reasons in the audit trail.
